Deep Learning Auto-Segmentation Network for Paediatric CT Datasets: Can We Extrapolate from Adults?
Abstract AI-based auto-segmentation models hold promise for enhanced efficiency and consistency in organ contouring for adaptive radiotherapy and radiotherapy planning. However, their performance on paediatric CT data and cross-scanner compatibility remains unclear. This study aims to evaluate the performance of AI-based auto-segmentation models trained on adult CT data when applied to paediatric datasets and explore the improvement in performance gained by including paediatric training data.

Light-Driven Depolymerization of Cellulosic Biomass into Hydrocarbons
1. Introduction Biomass conversion has become an attractive field for producing fine chemicals and fuels. Biomass contains lignin as an aromatic organic component, while cellulose and hemicellulose are sugar polysaccharide components, as shown in Figure 1 and Table 1. These components constitute ~60 wt% of lignocellulosic biomass, representing a source for producing renewable hydrocarbons, as shown in Figure 1.
Free Radicals Mediated Redox Signaling in Plant Stress Tolerance
1. Introduction In the 21st century agriculture and various climatic stresses, such as high temperature, drought, and salinity, have redundantly affected crop growth and productivity, prompting severe threats to global food security for ever-growing global populations [1]. In the Asian continent, a rainfed agriculture system is usually standard and is followed by most farmers.
LONG TERM SEX SPECIFIC OUTCOMES IN PATIENTS WITH THORACIC AORTIC DISEASE
There is increasing evidence supporting sex related disparity in the epidemiology, diagnosis and post-operative outcomes of women with thoracic aortic aneurysms and dissections (TAAD). The objective of this study was to characterize sex specific long-term survival in patients with TAAD and determine potential risk factors associated with long term mortality.
