Latin American commercial art space to launch in London this October

This October, London gains another dedicated venue for non-Western art with the arrival of Antesala, a commercial space for artists from Latin America. Founded by the Brazilian-born collector and patron Flavia Nespatti, the Fitzrovia space will work directly with galleries, artists and foundations to stage selling exhibitions of both primary and secondary market works, alongside a public programme of talks, gatherings and film screenings.

A Palais de Tokyo for London? Hypha Studios to open major exhibition and studio space near Tate Modern

A large, new temporary art venue is opening in central London at the end this month, within walking distance of Tate Modern. The charity Hypha Studios, which hosts studios and exhibitions in vacant buildings, will debut Hypha Gallery South Bank on 25 June, in a former office building on Southwark Bridge Road. The site will include three galleries, a project space, studios and a showroom for the organisation’s sales arm, Hypha Curates.
