How is social media changing news?

It's made news more immediate, accessible and interactive. It's required reporters to adapt and adjust their skill sets accordingly.

What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?

Not sure.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Interesting question... I'd like an editor to make it very clear what the angle should be, so that way I can maintain a focused approach.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I did. I started off on the editorial page, then was moved to sports editor and co-editor-in-chief for my senior year.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
