Work Related Pain in Gynecologic Surgeons - A National Survey
Surgeons and other procedural-focused physicians are at high risk for work related pain (WRP) and musculoskeletal disorders.1-3 The surgical environment lends itself to ergonomic risk including repetitive movements, static and cumbersome positions, long work hours performing ergonomically high-risk activities, and adapting to ill-fitting equipment and instruments.1 Despite a growing body of literature and proposed mitigating interventions,4,5 WRP remains a significant issue for surgeons.

Craze Extension Ratio of Semiflexible Polymer Glasses
Using molecular dynamics simulations, we show semiflexible bead–spring polymer glasses’ craze extension ratio λcraze≳(Ne/C∞√)1/2, where Ne is their entanglement length and C∞ is their Flory characteristic ratio, over the entire range of chain stiffnesses for which their parent melts remain isotropic (1 ≤ Ne/C∞ ≲ 28).
Ultraslow Settling Kinetics of Frictional Cohesive Powders
Abstract Using discrete element method simulations, we show that the settling of frictional cohesive grains under ramped-pressure compression exhibits strong history dependence and slow dynamics that are not present for grains that lack either cohesion or friction.

Sample pre-treatment techniques for use with ICP-MS hyphenated techniques for elemental speciation in biological samples
The biochemical reactions involving trace elements depend on the nature and form of their chemical species in a biological system. Consequently, the study of the chemical speciation of a given element in biological samples has become essential for understanding their bioavailability and toxicity.

A dual extraction technique combined with HPLC-ICP-MS for speciation of seleno-amino acids in rice and yeast samples
Magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) was combined with hollow fiber liquid liquid liquid microextraction (HF-LLLME) for the extraction of seleno-amino acids. Graphene oxide (GO) modified magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) were prepared and loaded with Cu for the adsorption of target seleno-amino acids based on the interaction between Cu and seleno-amino acids.
