1. Introduction Drivers’ interactions with car-borne central control platforms (CBCCPs) have become increasingly complex due to the continuous improvement of cars’ functions and performance. Furthermore, the CBCCP plays a critical role in managing an automobile’s multiple functions. Hence, a CBCCP that integrates a virtual touchscreen into a physical interface is the best solution for drivers to control a technologically advanced car.
