APG, on behalf of pension fund ABP — one of the world's largest pension investors — is investing €300 million ($350 million) in new growth equity for a minority stake in Return, an independent large-scale energy storage provider in Europe. Return serves customer demand across Europe and is active in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Spain, with 70 megawatts of operational storage capacity in the Netherlands and another 450 megawatts currently under construction.

Vauban Infrastructure Partners has announced Vauban Infra Fibre, France’s largest independent digital infrastructure platform, has taken a strategic step toward the proposed acquisition of Towerlink France from Cellnex France. Founded in 2018, Towerlink is the owner, operator and developer of urban edge data centers. The company has a presence across multiple sites in France, many of which are already operational with nationwide urban footprints located close to end customers.

Abyss, a specialist service vessel provider supporting the salmon farming industry in Norway and Iceland backed by Arcus Infrastructure Partners’ Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 3 (AEIF3), has plans to acquire Frøy Akvaservice. Frøy Akvaservice is a provider of service vessels to the Norwegian aquaculture industry and is being carved out of Frøy Group.
