Making reading into a joint hobby and not just a solo endeavor can offer new rewards that can even make reading more enjoyable. Just like it helps to tie something you’re trying to learn to a relatable part of your life, discussing a book with other people and hearing their own interpretations and experience with the book can help you better digest and incorporate the value that book offers.

Kristin Fassler joined Simon & Schuster’s Atria Publishing Group in August 2018, in the newly-created role of Vice-President and Director of Integrated Marketing, overseeing the merger of the marketing and publicity departments for a more unified, digitally-driven, author-focused approach.
