Before Milton heads back to the polls on May 19, it is vital that we separate budget facts from fiscal fiction. In recent years, the MTSD has put forward level service budgets, not level funded. Even without adding additional services, these budgets were an increase over the previous year as a result of increases in health care, salaries, transportation, and the cost of supplies and services.
