McSweeney's Internet Tendency. It is never, ever disappointing. Also great: Paperboy and Gossamer magazines. Always fun, always surprising.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
"Outdoor" doesn't mean "everything that happens outside." I don't cover: NASCAR, NFL, MLB, golf...
