What was your first job as a journalist?

As a news presenter in a local news channel in Guwahati.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To be able to give voice to the voiceless. to make a difference through my stories.

I was the student editor of our college magazine.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

To read a lot. and write a lot. and to believe in the stories that they want to tell, irrespective of what people say.

Anytime.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

To interview someone to make them famous.

What's your favorite drink?

Coconut water
