Katherine Donlevy’s Biography

Katherine is a writer and editor based in the borough of Queens, New York.

Since earneing a BA in Journalism and a BA in Communications/ Public Relations, as well as a minor in Creative Writing from SUNY New Paltz in May 2019, Katherine has joined the Queens Chronicle staff as the North and Northeast editor. Her responsibilities include writing and editing hyper-local, borough-wide, and city-wide stories, and range across a myriad of topics. Feature and human interest stories are her favorite to write, though she loves that hard-hitting and breaking news keeps her on her toes.

Other than writing, Katherine’s skills include copy editing, social media development, and transcribing. Additionally, she dabbles in photography, graphic design, videography, and audio production.

In her free time, Katherine loves staying active. She has an attachment to her Steel Stallion (her beloved bicycle), and enjoys exploring the wonders of Upstate New York.
