Why did you become a journalist?
I have thirst to tell stories that need to be told to a wider audience. I believe writing can engender empathy and force accountability.

My high school didn't have an active program, but I was the senior opinion writer at The Cavalier Daily at UVA.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm currently working on a piece about the Goddess movement in Glastonbury.

Don't wait for permission, strike out with the ideas and stories you want published
