KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A man has been convicted of first-degree murder eight years after shooting another man to death in Kalamazoo. On Tuesday, a jury convicted James Edward Reed of one count of first-degree murder and four weapons-related felonies. Reed, 29, is currently incarcerated in Jackson on unrelated assault, weapons and drug offenses. Reed was found guilty of shooting and killing 32-year-old Marcus Ford on Nov. 17, 2018.
