As much as I love New York, when August rolls around, I look for any possible excuse to escape the city’s sweltering heat. So when I got the chance to head to Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City to try their new Girl Dinner experience, I had my weekender bag packed before I even requested PTO. Lol, oops. This summer, their steak house is offering their version of Girl Dinner — the “Tini Meal,” which includes a dirty martini, caesar salad, and truffle fries (WAFFLE CUT!!) for $49 at the bar.

NGL, Lake Tahoe has been at the top of my travel wishlist for way too long. I’m a total sucker for crystal-blue water and mountain views, so I’ve been dreaming of making the cross-country trek for a while. And let me tell you, when I finally made it happen, it blew my expectations out of the water. (Lol no pun intended.) I went for a long weekend and packed in everything I love: good food, jaw-dropping scenery, and lots of close-up views of the mountains.

I *Finally* Made It to My Bucket List Destination: Cusco & Machu Picchu

When I turned 30 years old, I made it a point to finally start ticking items off my travel bucket list. I’ve always loved traveling (and travel fairly frequently), but something about turning the big 3-0 made me really want to prioritize hitting at least two dream destinations per year. You know, those places you have saved in your Notes app that say “travel bucket list” that you never actually go to? Well, for me, Peru — specifically Cusco and Machu Picchu — was one of them.
