What was your first job as a journalist?

My first job as a journalist was interning for NBC in NYC.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Email! And my favorite pitches are from people who have read our site, know what we cover and send pitches that really are relevant.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I worked for my high school yearbook, and I worked for my college paper. I was features editor, layout editor and ultimately editor in chief.
