For those stateside, I hope you enjoyed a festive 4th of July holiday! In an unprecedented move, I opted to stay in the city for the long weekend. Since moving here in 2018, I’ve never once been in New York over the 4th—typically choosing to go up to my hometown in Western New York to be on Lake Ontario, or, in the case of last year, the beaches of the Balearics with my girlfriends. Switching it up proved quite fruitful.
