At just 26, young entrepreneur Keegan Glade is the Business Manager at Stone Manor on 79th, a family-owned wedding and event venue located in the heart of downtown Overland Park, Kansas. In addition to managing the venue, Keegan is also a Pricing Analyst at Synergy Flavors, a global leader in flavor manufacturing, supplying flavorings, extracts, and essences to create impactful taste solutions. The Carbery Group owns the company.
Stone Manor on 79th is a distinctive venue for weddings and special events, housed in the historic Strang Line Car Barn, which was built in 1908. The venue, which was fully renovated in 2023, combines the warmth and character of natural stone walls, a wood-planked barrel-roof ceiling, and crystal chandeliers to create an unforgettable atmosphere. As Business Manager, Keegan has embraced the opportunity to serve others by providing couples with a beautiful and memorable space to celebrate their special day. He is responsible for overseeing the venue's accounting, finance, and customer relationships, ensuring that each event is executed flawlessly. Keegan has worked hard to build the venue’s reputation and played an active role in its growth. For example, in March 2024, he attended the WedKC Spring/Winter trade show in Kansas City with a colleague to represent Stone Manor, further establishing the venue in the local wedding industry.
Keegan’s professional journey began in 2021 when he joined Synergy Flavors right after graduating from college. He started as a Business Development GDP Associate, working closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams to improve and maintain key business relationships and to help identify strategic business prospects. His efforts led to increased revenue and profitability, supporting the company’s three-year strategic plans. Keegan was instrumental in developing growth plans for Synergy’s business segments, which enhanced its competencies and increased revenue within key markets. His work generated over 12 new business opportunities and contributed more than $15 million in revenue. These efforts also helped diversify Synergy’s business portfolio, positioning the company for long-term success.
