River flow and sediment concentration changes in the Wu-Xi River, central Taiwan, under CMIP6 scenarios Open Access

The SWAT+ model proves effective for daily-scale river flow simulation in the Wu-Xi catchment and is well suited for climate change impact assessments. This study, to our knowledge, is the first to apply 24 CMIP6 models within a SWAT+ framework to quantify future changes in both river flow and sediment concentration in the Wu-Xi River, Taiwan. Our findings indicate that (1) A substantial increase in extreme river flow events is projected for the Wu-Xi River downstream region.

A total of 424 patients were enrolled in our study to evaluate oncologic outcomes, with a median follow-up period of 25 months. The median age of the participants was 57 years. Baseline characteristics are detailed in Table 1. The majority of patients were male (94%) and under 60 years old (61%). The most common primary tumor sites were the oropharynx (40%) and hypopharynx (39%), followed by the oral cavity and larynx.

Acupoint stimulation for postpartum breastfeeding insufficiency: a systematic review and meta-analysis - Systematic Reviews

The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to assess the efficacy of acupoint stimulation for postpartum breastfeeding insufficiency. This result revealed that acupoint stimulation had a positive effect on postpartum breastfeeding insufficiency in terms of lactation volume, prolactin level, and colostrum time but with low or very low certainty of evidence. Adverse events were rare, and only one case of hypotension was mentioned in the experimental group.
