Counterfeit Alert! My Cap’s Peeling Threads Exposed a Massive Fraud 🚨
I’m sharing this cautionary tale because my recent online purchase was an absolute disaster, illustrating a fundamental failure in quality control and honesty. When I finally got the product, I was appalled and felt completely misled. I don’t even want to leave one star, yet to leave this comment I have to. I turned the cap i bought inside out and the tread was obviously coming apart, the caps are fakes! Imagine how may people they got dor selling fake merchandise including my son.

Recipe for fun: Word of South blends cookbook authors, chefs and music Original
Keith Baxter Special to the Tallahassee Democrat Have you ever stared at recipes in a cookbook and wondered, how do people come up with this stuff? I mean, who thought up Baked Alaska, or even rhubarb pie?
Top 100 Golf Courses of the World
The club was originally founded in 1882, and claims to be the oldest country club in the United States. In my research I have found some of these claims to be quite entertaining. For example, my home course in Franklin, Tennessee, Old Natchez claims to have been founded in 1882. Regardless, The Country Club is rightfully quite proud of its storied past. It is listed on the USGA's list of the first 100 clubs in America and is one of the five charter clubs of the United States Golf Association.
Quaker Ridge Golf Club
M. James Ward In hosting this year's Curtis Cup Matches, Quaker Ridge will move out of the shadows -- self imposed at that -- and shine some light on an underexposed A.W. Tillinghast gem. Quaker Ridge also hosted the 1997 Walker Cup Matches. Unlike its more illustrious nearby neighbor Winged Foot, Quaker has not really wished to host various national championships on a regular basis.

When Meadow Valleys was built Pete Dye added 18 holes to the Blackwolf Run project thus creating the River and Meadow Valleys courses at Blackwolf Run. But the holes were arranged in such a way that the the new holes became holes 5-13 on the River course and holes 1-9 on the Meadow Valleys course When tournaments are run at Blackwolf Run the original holes are used as the championship course (1-4, and 14-18 on The River Course and the back nine on Meadow Valleys).
Loch Lomond Golf Club
Oh, ye'll tak the high road, and I'll tak the low road, And I'll be in Scotland afore ye; But me and my true love will never meet again On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond. It doesn't matter whether you take the high road or the low road, a visit to the bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond is a romantic experience. A hop, skip and a jump from Glasgow, under the watchful guard of Ben Lomond, lies the largest expanse of fresh water in Great Britain.

Your correspondent mistakenly believed for years that the Inverness logo featured an elephant and an elk, confusing the flourish of the knight’s helmet to be antler’s on the stag’s head. It seemed odd, at first, to learn the beast’s true identity was a camel. After all, one’s nobility is typically held in higher regard than the other’s. Having played the course, I now fully endorse the decision. Glaciation’s role in forming Ohio golfland is well-established, generally for the better.
Winged Foot Golf Club (West)
M. James Ward The marching orders were succinct and to the point -- "Build us a man-sized golf course." And architect A.W. Tillinghast dutifully fulfilled that request with not just one course -- but two. Winged Foot is a 36-hole layout located in Westchester County -- roughly about 45 minutes north of Times Square. The West Course has rightly earned a clear reputation as one of the most demanding of all championship courses and rightly so.
Cleeve Hill Golf Course
At 1,083 feet Cleeve Hill is the highest point in the Cotswolds with commanding views over nearby Winchcombe to the north, Bishops Cleeve and Wales to the west and Cheltenham some four miles distant to the south. Indeed, the renowned Cheltenham Gold Cup was first run on Cleeve Hill from 1815 to 1855 before moving to Prestbury Park just north of the town. Plenty of horses being exercised are still seen about the common.
Best in County Golf Course
It’s a real shame that Warren Golf Club, located at the seaside town of Dawlish Warren in South Devon, was omitted from the “True Links” book showcasing the 246 true links golf courses of the world. I’m sure The Club would have welcomed and appreciated the inevitable additional visitor footfall this would have brought. It is obviously a genuine error because there is no doubting that this delightfully rustic layout meets all the criteria the authors set for inclusion.
Isle of Purbeck Golf Club
The vista from the Isle of Purbeck golf course is breathtaking, for the course is positioned on a high heathland plateau and the 360-degree panorama continually interrupts one’s concentration of the game at hand. To the south across the Solent is the Isle of Wight, to the east across Poole Bay is Bournemouth, to the north across Poole harbour is Brownsea Island and Poole Harbour beyond and lying to the west, the Purbeck Hills.
Tidworth Garrison Golf Club
Tidworth Garrison and High Post are regional downland rivals and “Royal” High Post as it is locally referred is currently ranked higher than Tidworth in the Wiltshire Best In County rankings. There’s no doubt in my mind which course is best. “Tidworth combines some of the best qualities of a seaside links with an inland, heathery course, and is, in fact, one of the best downland courses in the country,” wrote Frank Pennink in 1976.
Can I run Kool Beanz safely under 'Phase 1' conditions? I don't know
Keith Baxter, Your Turn Published 3:00 p.m. ET May 1, 2020 Autoplay Show Thumbnails Show Captions Last SlideNext Slide Phase 1 has the green light, but as a restaurant owner, I still have so many unanswered questions and concerns about whether or not to reopen now. Foremost is the concern for the safety and health of my employees, including myself. (My partner has an auto-immune disease and my mother is 86.) It's the main reason I have yet to start take-out service.
Berkshire Golf Club (Red)
A day spent playing both courses at The Berkshire is in my top ten list of private clubs with two courses. This excludes resorts such as Pebble Beach, Bandon Dunes, Barnbougle Dunes, Trump Turnberry, Gleneagles, Streamsong, etc. While The Berkshire is not at the level of Sunningdale, Baltusrol, Winged Foot, or Walton Heath, it is in the conversation due to the joy one has with the walk and variety of golf holes placed in front of you from both courses.
NAMI has free, local, non-judgmental help for family, friends of people with mental illnesses | Opinion
Keith Baxter, Your Turn Published 8:00 p.m. ET Feb. 7, 2020 Buy Photo Keith Baxter (Photo: Democrat files) The recent story of a mother who, after the death by suicide of her son, was courageous enough to speak of his mental illness leading to his tragic death, struck a nerve for me. Courageous, because the stigma attached to mental illness in today’s world is so unfair.

Waterville Golf Links, Waterville, County Kerry, Ireland +353 66 947 4102 The town of Waterville is a famous angling centre, located on a strip of land that separates the Atlantic Ocean from one of the most beautiful lakes in Ireland, Lough Currane. The name Waterville, or An CoireÁn (Little Whirlpool), is the premier coastal tourist centre of South West Kerry. Every year, Charlie Chaplin came to Waterville with his family, and they have named the annual two-day AM-AM after him.

Kool Beanz and other businesses need more parking to survive, whatever that looks like | Opinion

According to golf historian Bobby Burnet, golf at Kingsbarns dates back to 1793. A nine-hole golf course once played over part of the current layout. The “nine-holer” was commandeered by the military at the outbreak of the Second World War because they felt that the beach at Kingsbarns was an invasion risk. The golf course disappeared until American architect Kyle Phillips came along at the close of the 20th century.

Lawmakers must address mental illness
The recent article about schizophrenia among college students provided good information about warning signs when your student/adult child’s behavior indicates “something is not right.” The article noted that “family involvement is vitally important.” Indeed it is; however, everything changes profoundly once that ill person turns 18. Without consent from the now-adult, the family is shut out, as I was with my schizophrenic son.
