LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraskans will wake up to one more very chilly morning on Thursday...then watch temperatures moderate again by afternoon. Much of this month has been unseasonably mild...with 7 days with highs in the 80s...and one day where we hit 90°. That pattern has taken a hit this week, and indications are that highs in the mid 50s-to-low 60s will dominate many of the next several days.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The upcoming weather pattern looks to remain rather tranquil over the next few days. Some periodic cloud cover will be included in the forecasts for the rest of the week...but precipitation chances look quite low until early next week. Temperatures over this period are expected to remain mild-to-warm for early October...with highs in the mid 70s-to-low 80s.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A continuation of warm and mainly dry weather is expected as we begin a new month. Look for highs each day to make it into the 80s while overnight lows also stay above-average...mainly in the 50s and 60s. While a shower or two will be possible in some areas on Wednesday...most of 10-11 Country will be dry with temperatures returning to the 80s.
