Putting ranchers first, even when it's hard
I have spent my life on this land. I watch cattle prices the way other people watch the weather, because small shifts in either can have major impacts on my neighbors’ and my own bottom line. Ranching in Montana isn’t a job you clock out of. It’s a commitment passed down through generations, sustained only through careful stewardship — day and night on the land, month to month in local markets, and year to year from our political leaders.
Public service doesn't end here | Ken Walsh
I’m proud to have lived a life committed to public service, but serving as your Representative for the past six years has been the honor of a lifetime. While I am disappointed to not be returning to Helena for one more term to work on your behalf, I will leave office deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve you. kAm(6 =:G6 :? 2? :?4C62D:?8=J 5:G:D:G6 E:>6] x 36=:6G6 D@FE9H6DE |@?E2?2 42? 36 2 =6256C :? Setting the record straight on HB 9 | Ken Walsh
Recent flyers and political ads circulating in our community are making entirely false claims about my funding decisions and my priorities, particularly regarding House Bill 9 in both the 2023 and 2025 legislative sessions. Montanans deserve the truth. kAmw@FD6 q:== h Wwq hX :D 2 DE2?52C5 C64FCC:?8 3:== :?EC@5F465 6G6CJ 3:6??:F>] xED @77:4:2= E:E=6 :D E96 rF=EFC2= 2?5 p6DE96E:4 vC2?ED 3:==[ 2?5 :E 92D 6I:DE65 7@C 564256D F?56C 3@E9 #6AF3=:42?
Thank you, citizens of Montana HD 69 | Ken Walsh
Serving the people of House District 69 has been one of the greatest honors of my life. For the past six years, we’ve worked together to strengthen water policy, protect our health care system, support public education, enhance conservation and infrastructure, ensure fiscal responsibility, and stand up for rural communities.
Protecting our region’s economic vitality
Southwest Montana is built on hard work, local pride, and the small businesses that keep our communities vibrant. kAm}@H96C6 :D E92E >@C6 6G:56?E E92? :?
Proposals to lower property taxes
Montana’s property taxes are out of control. That’s why our top priority this session is passing permanent property tax relief for Montanans. And we’re not alone: Gov. Gianforte signaled property tax reform is at the top of his to-do list this session in his recent State of the State address. While we all agree on the need for property tax reform, debate this session will be over how to offer Montanans real, permanent relief on their property tax bills.
