1. Introduction Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer with ~300,000 new diagnoses in 2022, and it is the second leading cause of cancer death among women worldwide [1]. Preventative screening through mammography as well as the incorporation of recent treatment advances into care can prevent death and improve outcomes. As the population ages, elderly patients comprise an increasing proportion of patients diagnosed with breast cancer.
