Although the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and civil rights laws dating back to 1866 prohibit nearly all racial preferences, most Americans oppose these preferences, and Donald Trump was elected vowing to eliminate DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) – progressives won’t give up. Their race-obsessed thinking reduces America to intersectional classifications of oppressed and oppressor.

Last week, Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve, who favors allowing at least some men who claim to be women to play in the WNBA, defended those who disagree. She acknowledged that pro-women demonstrators have been peaceful and did not threaten the “safe space” of others. Reeve explained that she favors allowing transwomen (biological men) in the WNBA to be “inclusive,” though she acknowledged the issues are more complicated when championships and scholarships are at stake.

The imbroglio resulting from WNBA Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham’s softly spoken defense of preserving women’s sports for women is endemic of the left’s hostility to facts.
