DECORAH, Iowa - Highlighted by Kira Anderson advancing to the quarterfinals of the Flight C Singles competition, Simpson women's tennis team completed its season at the American Rivers Conference Individual Tournament this weekend. Anderson started her journey early Friday morning with a 8-6 win over Dubuque's Tatiana Ptaszek. Anderson then won again later on Friday with an 8-4 win over Nebraska Wesleyan's Ella Mahaffy.

DECORAH, Iowa - Kennedi Wright led the Simpson women's tennis team after a trio of matches, including two in the American Rivers Conference, this weekend. The Storm (2-8, 2-6 A-R-C) dropped the three matches, with two conference decisions going against them versus Luther and Wartburg. The Storm saw better results in the non-conference match against St. Ambrose, but still fell by a 8-1 mark. After dropping all three doubles matches, the Storm responded with brave singles performances.

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Simpson women's tennis team dropped a decision against Loras, before rebounding to defeat Dubuque in American Rivers Conference play at Buxton Tennis Complex, Saturday. After a tough match against Loras (6-4, 2-3 A-R-C) in which the Storm (2-5, 2-4 A-R-C) were shut out, the team rebounded just a few hours later. The Storm then earned a crucial win over Dubuque to remain in the middle of the pack in the conference.
