Dear Editor, To young Resident Doctors in Scotland, Be strong, Scotland’s biggest export is brains. Graduating in 1970, I never imagined emigration until it became clear there was no job for me in the UK. I had nine senior registrar Interviews. This, in spite of receiving four top of the class medals at university, MRCP(UK) in 1972, and two papers in the Lancet by 1976. Canada desperately needs Doctors and it is more open than ever to international medical graduates.
