Why did you become a journalist?

To put it simply, I love to write and form stories. I like giving my perspective, even if no one asked.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My first published article, "Hip-hop: Are the Lyrics on Trial?"

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

The best way to become a better writer is to write. Flex that muscle as often as possible.

What's your favorite drink?

Sweet tea

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On the couch, crocheting.
