1. Introduction The growing demand for resources and environmental sustainability have emerged as a paramount concern to search for sustainable materials and efficient utilization of resources [1]. In particular, the use of fossil-fuel-based nonbiodegradable plastics has steadily increased, contributing to solid plastic waste (SPW) [2,3,4]. Polyethylenes (PEs) are highly accumulated as SPW (50–70%) [5], with infiltration in different parts of the environment.
