From Jul 1987 through Dec 2020 ·I was a CNN producer in various capacities.
From 2014 through 2020 I was the Supervising Producer for Weekend Coverage in the Washington bureau overseeing breaking news coverage of all stories and events coming from Washington as well as all stories reported over the weekend ranging from the White House to politics to national security.
From Jan. 2009-Dec. 2014 I was a Senior Producer for Politics covering the 2012 and 2010 elections working with lead political analyst Gloria Borger and national political correspondent Jessica Yellin. I worked as a floor producer at the political conventions; produced in-depth interviews with leading newsmakers, including Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney, Sen. John McCain and several presidential candidates. I also wrote many stories for the CNN website on a wide range of stories.
From June 2001 through 2008 I was a Senior Producer covering the Justice beat which included leading coverage of the 9/11 attacks investigation and the terrorism beat as well as the anthrax attacks investigation.
