I started my banking career at a large regional bank in Wichita. In fact, we were the largest bank in the state. It was a highly-respected institution and a great place for young, aspiring bankers to aggressively earn their stripes. Training was held in high regard, and everyone was provided additional education through in-house facilitators, as well as outside educators. I recall learning about the term “life-changing events” and was trained to be acutely aware of them.
