Kevin Day’s Biography
Kevin Day is a wine writer, professional photographer and the Editor-in-Chief of the online wine magazine Opening a Bottle. He has been shortlisted by the Louis Roederer Wine Writers’ Awards for Emerging Wine Writer of the Year, 2019, and he was also named a 2019 finalist for “Best Individual Blog” by the IACP–International Association of Culinary Professionals. Has was twice nominated for the Millesima Blog Awards in the Wine Reporter category, and is an Italian Wine Scholar™ as well as a French Wine Scholar™. In 2023, he was accepted into The Circle of Wine Writers.
In addition to overseeing Opening a Bottle, he has been a contributor to SevenFifty Daily as well as the Wine Scholar Guild blog. He is based in Denver, Colorado.
