What was your first job as a journalist?
Working at The Whistler Question where I wrote stories and took photographs. Sometimes I even delivered it.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes.
How is social media changing news?
It's levelling the field and allowing more people than ever before to be the first wave of news gatherers.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
Telling great stories.

Twitter message.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Twitter, iPhone, DSS Player, pen, reporter's pad, tea and once if not more a week, espresso - four shot.

Why did you become a journalist?
Nothing else was nearly as interesting.

No. I worked on my university paper - The Ubyssey at the University of British Columbia.

Don't give up.
