2026 National Trucking Industry Award winners announced

The Australian Trucking Association has announced the winners of the 2026 National Trucking Industry Awards. The ATA represents the 60,000 businesses and 200,000 people in the Australian trucking industry and each year recognises industry excellence through its award program. “The recipients of this year’s awards have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their businesses and the wider community,” ATA Chair Mark Parry said.

Trucking industry win: budget keeps fuel tax credits

In a win for the trucking industry, the federal budget has kept the industry’s fuel tax credits despite a Productivity Commission plan to abolish the scheme. Australian Trucking Association Chair Mark Parry thanked the Government for listening to the industry’s response to the Productivity Commission plan, which recommended phasing out fuel tax credits for on-road heavy vehicles over ten years.
