1 Introduction Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is characterized by high heterogeneity, cytogenetic mutations, aggressive progression, complicated molecular signatures, complex pathogenesis, and a poor clinical outcome [1]. Besides hematopoietic cells themselves, the importance of hematopoietic microenvironment cannot be overemphasized [2].

Introduction Lung cancer is the second most prevalent cancer worldwide and leads in both occurrence and fatality among all cancers in China.1,2 A major concern is that lung cancer is frequently diagnosed at advanced stages, which contributes to its high recurrence rate. Recent studies indicate that by 2020, lung adenocarcinoma had emerged as the predominant subtype of lung cancer worldwide.
