GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — According to the US Attorney’s office for Colorado, a Federal Judge sentenced 51-year-old Michael Tracy McFadden to the rest of his life in prison. KREX reported last November when a jury convicted McFadden of repeatedly assaulting two children. During McFadden’s trial, two victims testified he often crossed state lines to commit the abuse.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — With Thanksgiving coming up tomorrow, local organizations are making sure they do everything they can for those in need. Each year, Canyon View Vineyard Church and the Salvation Army provide meals for those in need of a Thanksgiving dinner. This evening, Volunteers from across the Western Slope are distributing more than 1,000 meals to be delivered to the community.
