No. I started with a state-of-the-eyestrain Amstrad.
How is social media changing news?
It's changing response times dramatically, and it's changing the mechanisms institutions use to try and stay ahead of stories/journalists.

Lois Lane
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
With even a passing reference to something else I've written
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Macbook Air
What's your favorite social network?
I've worked hardest at making Twitter make sense for me.
Who do you wish followed you?
Diego Maradona
Why did you become a journalist?
I like people. I'm curious about why they think what they think and do what they do.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
"A long lost story of..." feature on Jack Johnson and Dadaist Arthur Cravan, that I wrote for the Guardian, had particular sentimental value
When's the best time to pitch you?
Mondays and Tuesday after 9am ET
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
A men's sports deodorant called "Fresh Balls". In fairness, given the product, the pitch was valiant...

Ginger ale.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
With my family.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
Washington Post.
