Perdue Foods LLC has agreed to settle its trademark infringement allegations against competitor John Soules Foods Inc. over “6 7" chicken nuggets that reference the popular meme. Judge Roderick C. Young, of the US District Court Eastern District of Virginia, ordered the food brands on Thursday to file a stipulation of dismissal by Aug. 6, after they reached a settlement agreement earlier this week. Young also denied Perdue’s motion for preliminary injunction as moot in light of the settlement.

Fashion designer Jabari Shelton, better known as A$AP Bari, has reached a settlement with LVDV Holdings LLC over the use of the VLONE clothing trademark. Shelton says he founded the popular VLONE streetwear brand in April 2012 and hired Frederick Hunter, who owns LVDV, to help him manage the rapid growth and publicity of VLONE.

Guaranteed Rate Inc. has settled its lawsuit against LIT Financial Corp. that alleged the mortgage broker carried out a “predatory marketing scheme” using Rate’s name. Judge Brandy R. McMillion of the US District Court of the Eastern District of Michigan dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice Wednesday.
