What was your first job as a journalist?

Metro Networks, Cleveland, Ohio as a news and traffic reporter for several affiliates.

It's the go to platform for information on breaking news. But you need to know how to verify information.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Integrity, ethics, research

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

There were many great projects that I helped produce at WCPN in Cleveland, Ohio. Incredible team in that newsroom 1999-2002.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Pay attention to details, make an effort to improve your writing.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Anytime, but I teach on Sundays and Wednesdays - all day.
