Yes, but mostly just at thrift stores.

Why did you become a journalist?

Art school freshman year was a major fail, so this was my career choice by default.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Your journalism career is not damned if you get fired from your college paper, but it's probably best if you don't.

Go spend Christmas with inmates

Minneapolis Star Tribune.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That the hours suck. Personally, I enjoy the 2 to 11 p.m. shift.
