I was standing alone, listening to people share kind words about my mama and thinking, “this can’t be real”. It was just 10 months after I lost my dad and I couldn’t believe that I was doing this again. But God. In those all consuming moments that felt deep and heavy, God comforted me. He brought me a friendly face, or an unexpected laugh.
