1 Introduction Artificial intelligence (AI) is already a powerful tool and continues to advance in its use, especially in dentistry. While AI can assist the clinician and dental educator in making decisions, final responsibility for patient care rests with the clinician. ‘Responsibility’ has several components: patient care decision-making, patient privacy, credibility of AI information [1-3].

We are saddened to share that Kim Vo passed away on January 24, 2026, after a years-long battle with colorectal cancer. The 55-year-old was known as a master colourist and blonding specialist, who has worked with celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Vo was named the “best blonder in the business” by Vogue and has appeared on TV in programs including Extreme Makeover and Shear Genius.
