What was your first job as a journalist?

An electric typewriter, like, once? I could not figure out how to turn it on. -_-
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Susie Carmichael from Rugrats might as well have been a journalist.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Seek the truth and report it. Honesty, accuracy, and transparency.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
When Pearl Jam played their album "Yield" in full in 2014, one of my friends, a PJ super-fan, live tweeted and simply said "#BitchNuts.

Why did you become a journalist?
Because I wanted to learn how to properly interview bands.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
We did not have one.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I wrote a story on the Tuscaloosa Music Scene in college and I am still super proud of that today.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Do not give up.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Probably driving because I travel around after I get off work and maybe sleep two to three hours a night.
