1 Introduction The possibility of estimating permeability ( k $k$ ) from geoelectrical measurements has motivated geoscientists for decades (Bernabé et al., 2011; Börner et al., 1996; Cai et al., 2019; Mazáč et al., 1985; Urish, 1981; Wyllie & Rose, 1950). Cai et al. (2017) review models for estimating k $k$ from resistivity measurements based on fractal, percolation and effective medium theories.
