Meninger Indre Østfold kommune har cirka 5.200 elever i grunnskolen. Det er i dag store ulikheter på elevkostnader pr. elev, skolenes fasiliteter og ikke minst lærernormen. Vi har den siste tiden opplevd stort engasjement spesielt fra foresatte på kommunens grendeskoler øst i kommunen. Mandag 13. oktober arrangerte FAU Havnås skole, FAU Kirkefjerdingen skole og FAU Tenor skole møte ang. temaet skolenedleggelse.
