Though he’s usually an honest storyteller, musician Ben Kweller lies sometimes. After patiently splitting the audience into a three-part harmony for “Family Tree,” he looked contentedly down at the floor at D.C.’s Union Stage. “You guys are fantastic,” he said, though we were hardly in tune. Commemorating the upcoming release of his seventh studio album, Cover The Mirrors, Kweller is back on the road.

A cross-disciplinary team of Georgetown students and faculty will showcase entries from a campus-wide artificial intelligence (AI) generated art competition at the AI Art Exhibition on April 16 to explore how people perceive the creative value of AI artwork. The exhibition, titled “A.I. in Art: Perceptions, Values, & Rights” will open from 4:30–6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Lauinger Library.

(no) Pressure Creatives, Georgetown’s Asian American musical theatre production group, is back for a third season with its new musical, Off The Record. Following the huge successes of its prior performances, (No) Pressure: an asian american musical (2023) and Autumn Leaves (2024), this new show is a “comedic mystery musical” that follows the story of Ariel and Ben, two aspiring artists who get swept along in a mystery involving their newly signed record label, Maneki Neko Records (MNR).
