EASTON — For the first time, there’s a full depiction of Tench Tilghman, the Talbot County-born revolutionary hero. Members of the local Sons of the American Revolution chapter, named after Tilghman, gathered Monday to unveil a painting of the Revolutionary War soldier known best for being George Washington’s aide-de-camp, one of the general’s most trusted men. Laura Era, an award-winning artist and owner of the Troika Gallery, was commissioned to create the portrait.
