Hydrophosphination of Aromatic Alkenes and α,β‐Unsaturated Compounds Using Cobalt Phenoxyimine Complex and Isolation of Double‐Insertion Products
1 Introduction Hydrophosphination, which is not hydrophosphinylation using phosphine oxides, is an important catalytic hydrofunctionalization reaction. Hydrophosphines and alkenes or alkynes react to produce alkyl or alkenyl phosphines as building blocks for various functional materials [1-7]. Metal-catalyzed hydrophosphination of alkenes allows easy control over the stereo- and/or regioselectivity of the product in addition to rate acceleration.
