Krish Fisher | Augusta Today The famous Panama City Beach coastline has been seen as both paradise and perilous to Augusta Today columnist Kris Fisher. I love Panama City Beach. If there is a city in America that I consider my second home, it would have to be PCB. One might find it strange that I’ve settled on the place not-so-lovingly referred to as the Redneck Riviera as my favorite place. In a recent conversation, someone referred to it as Florida’s Junk Drawer.

Local artist and designer Jason Craig is just like a lot of people, attending unique events outside of Augusta and thinking how great it would be to have something similar back home. After a surprise exclamation - “Wait, WHAT?!” - he asked why I hadn’t written about the impending milestone. I agreed that it seemed rather out of place as my favorite topic is my exploits as a father and, obviously, this is a pretty big deal. At the time, I couldn’t really answer.
