Kris Kosach’s Biography

Twenty+ years covering Travel + Adventure, Hollywood, Music, and more. A media pioneer who oversaw the dawn of the digital age. A multi-platform digital producer, self starter able to create content from concept to completion.

Founding MTV2 VJ, Launch team for US News Rankings, Emmy winning music-technology series "AudioFile" for TechTV before being promoted to cover tech news, gaming and Hollywood. Kris' work has taken her around the world, from Japan to South Africa, and to every music hotspot around the US for which she was a regular contributor to ABC News and CNN, among other national outlets.

As comfortable on a red carpet as jumping out of an airplane. Kris has represented Fortune 500 companies such as Johnson & Johnson, and Oracle on live television. ​She has taught Journalism to thousands of students from all over the United States at the esteemed Newseum in Washington DC, and written for a number of multi-platform media outlets. She was also part of the start up team to launch the US News & World Report consumer site, rankingsandreviews.

But Music is Kris' passion and she had never fully deviated from that. She has worked at Alternative, AAA and Rock stations from coast to coast, and has launched several podcasts, most notably the recent Text prose & RocknRoll where Kris interviews artists, and other music journalists about their written work.
