I was an intern for a Brooklyn publication called OurBkSocial.

Being a journalist means everything to me. It means I can captivate readers with my words and so much more.

Why did you become a journalist?
I was inspired by Maya Angelou from a young age and I've always love writing.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My most proud story was a piece I did on the Representation of Black Women within the WWE.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
I would tell aspiring journalists to keep going, ask questions, get a mentor if possible, and to never give up on yourself.
