1 Introduction Hydrogels have emerged as ideal materials for implantable electronics due to their mechanical and chemical similarity to biological tissues. Their tissue-level mechanical compliance, with Young's modulus ranging from the kilopascal to megapascal scale, allows them to accommodate micromotions in the brain caused by respiration and blood circulation.
